Coffee… the world’s most famous morning beverage!  There’s not a continent that doesn’t consume it as such!  In North America, we set our coffee alarm rather than our bedside alarm.  Waking up to the sweet aroma that warms our body, awakens our taste buds, and literally transforms that “Do I really have to get out of bed” to “ummm… coffee…” all before we part from the sheets and rise from the dead.  It’s that familiar comforting nostalgic smell of coffee, fresh brewed, streaming through the kitchen, down the hall and to your bedroom… that alarm “buuuzzz” that gets you to come alive.  Then a few sips… or cups, for some… and you have the full-on “buzz” to get you through your day… or at least a couple of hours.  Welcome to the morning reality of over 75% of North America.
